Chameleon Lighting is based in Niceville, Florida. We design the hardware, write the software and install permanent outdoor lighting ourselves — the app, the cloud and the firmware on the controller are all built here rather than bought in.
That is unusual for this trade, and it is the reason we can answer a question about why the lights did something instead of forwarding it to a vendor.

Our service area limits who we will climb a ladder for. It does not limit who can use what we built.
The firmware is a free download that runs on hardware you already own, and the app drives it from your phone. You do not have to buy lights from us to use either one. Bring your own strips, your own controller, your own kit from anywhere — or a DIY project that is not a house at all.
Installers: the same applies to you, on your own jobs, with whatever product line you already carry. There is no dealer agreement to sign, no minimum order and no buy-in.
